Gas springs and dampers for the kitchen

Easy opening and closing of flaps

Standard gas spring or soft-stop gas spring

Both the standard gas spring and the soft-stop gas spring are dampened on extension. Both types of gas springs ensure the cupboard flap moves automatically to its end position of approx. 90° after being gently opened from angle of approx. 10°.

Special features of the soft-stop gas spring:

  • Automatic and quiet opening function
  • Smoothly damped movement throughout the entire opening process
  • Gentle deceleration on reaching the end position

Positioning gas spring

If a furniture flap is not to open up to its highest position by itself, the positioning spring is the right solution. The gas spring supports the load, but stops safely in the position chosen by the user. An intermediate stop in any position is also possible.

Special features of the positioning gas spring:

  • Load support during the opening function
  • Intermediate stop in any position possible, hence optimum reachability

Dampers

Furniture dampers are used for furniture fronts that are below eye level and open downwards. The flap opens by itself after minimum opening activation. The flap is smoothly and gently slowed down by a special damper to reach its end position.

Special features of the furniture damper:

  • Automatic and quiet opening function
  • Smoothly damped movement throughout the entire opening process
  • Gentle deceleration and avoidance of force peaks on reaching the final position
