Shock damper with bottom valve

Shock damper with bottom valve

In this type of damper the oil chamber is separated from the gas compartment by a bottom valve. This means that the piston rod has no extension force.

  • Without extension force F1
  • Without idle stroke
  • Fixed position (installation with piston rod pointing downward)

Sample applications:

  • Belt tensioners
  • Engine vibration dampers
  • Universally usable
